Weekend Recap & Menu Planner

We have had a week of snow on the ground here in RVA! The kids have been out of school and we were going a little stir crazy at our house. On Friday, I let C & C jump for an hour at the open gym at Core Kids Academy and then we picked up my mom and headed to the VMFA for the the Hollywood Costume exhibit. Have you been? Clyde was of course obsessed with the Batman, Spiderman and Superman costumes but Camille seemed pretty interested in all of them. We are so lucky to have such a nice museum in Richmond. We strolled some of the other exhibits afterwards. It was nice to be out of the house!

We took pictures of some pieces as inspiration for Camille and Clyde's artwork at home!

Last night, we had a delicious dinner at friend's house. I brought dessert and made my "go-to" Black and White Cheesecake Bites and a new favorite, Salted Brown Butter Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Here goes with this week's menu planner...

Sunday - Chicken & Gnocchi  (I plan to substitute store bought Gnocchi)

Monday - Chicken Tortilla Soup (from the freezer), Quesadillas

Tuesday - Homemade Pizza (Maybe Chicken, Bacon, Ranch)

Wednesday - Chopped Mexican Salad

Thursday - Easy Crockpot Potato Soup, Grilled Cheese

  1. Alyson, the kids are looking so grown up!! Camille looks like she has grown a foot since I last saw her. :)
