When we bought our house in April 2009, I was 8 months pregnant with Clyde. Since we purchased the 50+ year old home from the original owners, there were some quite a few areas that needed updating. Luckily, I had vision and a lot of the work was cosmetic....except for the kitchen. It needed a major overhaul. In October 2009, the demo started. Thank to a vision from my sister,
Anne Hunter Blanton Hunter from
H2 Interior Design, we have an awesome kitchen and great room.
Before

We removed this wall to the original kitchen to open the space. |

This is the back wall of the kitchen. |
 |
We relocated this full bath and turned this area into a built in desk space. |
 |
We ditched this washer/dryer and purchased a stackable that is now in another part of our home. We added a half bathroom here. |

This is a shot of the kitchen side of the wall that came down to open the space. |

Looks at those cabinets...they're beauties. And don't be jealous of the curtains. |
AFTER
