New House: Clyde's Room

Clyde's room had curtains with a fish print until last week. We have lived here since July but I just managed (to convince Michael) to help me hang the Ikea curtains from our old bedroom. 

I found this chair at the Goodwill for $10 and then spray painted red. It reminds me of this Crate and Barrel chair. 

Clyde loves Nutcrackers and is growing quite the collection. We picked the one on his dresser up for $6 at an estate sale. 

My mom bought him that bottle for $15 at a craft fair. He was dying for it and she couldn't say no! He is lucky he was with her! Michael's grandmother needled pointed the Virginia art. And you can see the bottom of the giraffe my grandmother made for him in her pottery glass. 

A nice color on the wall would warm up the space. Clyde requested black but we may have convinced him to go with a dark blue! His room is by no means a finished product but will definitely do for now.
