Life Lately

We have had quite a busy summer. We sold our house, moved into a tiny apartment, bought a new house, celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Mexico and are now unpacking and getting settled in our home. It is a slow process but is coming together.

Here are some pictures from our trip. Our friends, Shep and Micah, traveled with us. They were both in our wedding and it was fun to share the celebration with them. We had a blast. Our resort was amazing...I highly recommend El Dorado Casitas Royale.

Camille and Clyde stayed with Michael's parents during the trip and had a whirlwind week visiting the aquarium, the zoo and a water park just to name a few of the many activities. They also had a blast! We can't thank Moe and Neena enough for entertaining them while we traveled.

We love our house but we have a lot of work still to do. My mom and sisters have been also a huge help to us this summer. We lived with my mom briefly and she entertained the kids, cared for our cat and much more. My sister, Kate had us for dinner many times during our apartment stay and has watched C and C more times than I can mention. And last but certainly not least....huge thank you to my other sister, Anne Hunter of H2 Interior Design who helped me select and coordinate my carpet and hardwood floor installation. I am so in love with this runner....

Ignore the wall color! That is first to be changed.

Stay tuned for a house post soon. There is lots of painting and refinishing of furniture to be done. I will try to document and blog about as we make progress. First up, Green Front Furniture tomorrow to look for a couch, some chairs, maybe a rug! We will see. Happy weekend!
