Christmas House Tour 2015

I am so excited for Christmas! After tomorrow, Camille and Clyde will be out of school and we have plans to bake for friends and Santa and also do a tacky light tour. I may be pulling my hair out next week when Clyde won't stop asking to watch people play Minecraft on YouTube but for now I am excited!

Today, I am sharing a few pictures of our house decorated for Christmas. It is very rainy today so they pictures came out a bit dark and I wasn't able to snap one of the exterior but think S- shaped wreath and colored Christmas lights. :)

My mom helped Camille and Clyde spray paint and glitter these pine cones for me last Christmas. I love them because they are hand-made. I picked up the Nutcracker this year at Michael's.

I am mixing and matching Christmas plates I found for $1 and $2 at thrift stores all over the city. I had a full set but a lot of it was broken when we moved last year. I purchased the plaid chargers this year at Michael's. I love to bring out the table runner because it was cross stitched and gifted to us by Michael's grandmother. All of my vintage Christmas balls are from Diversity Thrift and the cording and beaded garland are from the Dollar Tree and Target.
I bought the butterflies for my tree on clearance at Michael's a few years ago. The Christmas silver bells and balls are keepsakes given when I was a baby, and also given the year Michael & I were married and when Camille and Clyde were born.

The red Christmas trees on the mantle were found years ago at Diversity Thrift and I love them! The presents were a gift from my mom.

I purchased a new tree skirt and star this year. I found both at TJMaxx.
This year, I decided to use garland to hang my Christmas cards. I love to receive them and I have loved having them displayed this year. The Dollar Tree has a garland with mini-clothes pins already attached....I tied two together to make it a bit longer.

My grandmother gave these Nutcracker lamps to Camille & Clyde several years ago. I believe they are from the Christmas Tree Shop. And my sister-in-law gave me this cute frame last year.
Just this week, I picked up this Nutcracker pitcher at Hope Thrift! He was too adorable to pass up at $7.50!
I think it is going to cool down this weekend in RVA! Cooler temperatures feels more like Christmas to me. Have a festive weekend!
