Spring Thrift Shopping

I love a good thrift store and a good deal! After following one of the Sweet Sauce blog's instastories, I learned that the Short Pump Goodwill (near Tom Leonard's) is supposed to be the best. So after a real estate appointment in the area one day, I breezed through to see if there were any deals to be had! 

I found some of cutest items...brands like Gap, JCrew, Loft, Banana Republic. I purchased a cute faux fur vest for $4. 

The vest really smelled of a strong perfume which was kinda gross. The dry cleaners would not take it so I did a google search and decided to try to wash it. I put it on delicate and then let it air dry. Then I brushed it with an old hairbrush and it turned out great! 

My favorite find at the Goodwill was this Banana Republic shirt that was a little over $3 because I had a 20% off coupon. It was hidden in the kid's section so I was lucky to find it.

I definitely recommend checking out this Goodwill! I found a cute Old Navy athletic top for Camille as well as flower vase and some dishes. 

In other thrift shop news, have you seen those ads with Emily Henderson on Facebook for thred UP? I feel like the clothes they feature in those ads don't look good at all but they still got me and I went to the website to browse.  I found three of the cutest items! It is online consignment but there are some new with tag items as well. They also have kid's clothes!

I purchased this new with tags Tory Burch Tunic Top! It retails for $255 and I paid right under $50 for it! 

I also purchased a pair of grey JBrand jeans. I already have a pair of JBrand jeans that I love so I felt pretty good about the fit and size to order. (Although you can return the items if they don't work out.) The jeans retail for $189 and I paid $21 for them. They are previously owned but I couldn't tell. The condition is like new. 

I also purchased this black peplum top that I have already worn at least 3 times. The brand is Rodebjer which I had never heard of it but thredUp says the blouse retails for $220 and I paid around $30. 

I am wearing the blouse and jeans in this picture along with a necklace I snagged at TJMaxx for $20.
