Menu Planner

I have almost exclusively started using Kroger's Clicklist for my weekly shopping. I find it easy to select a meal for the coming week then add all the ingredients to my online list. The Kroger site also saves the items your order frequently so it is easy to add those each week. Last night, I enjoyed a glass of wine, created my meals and ordered my groceries all from the comfort of my couch. That certainly beats strolling the aisles every week!

We have been working really hard on eating more meals together as a family and only offering one dinner option instead of a short order kitchen. Clyde is an extremely picky eater and we are try to expose him to more foods. There was a bit of a revolt by Clyde on Tuesdays and Thursdays because Camille has gymnastics at 6:15 pm and it is hard to get the family meal ready by then so she wasn't required to eat it. So I started making a kid dinner on those nights - but it is one kid friendly meal - take it or leave it.

Here goes with my menu planner....

Saturday (Family Meal)...Steak Tacos

Sunday (Family Meal)...Ham, Cous Cous, Fried Okra, Blueberry Muffins

Monday (Family Meal)...Italian Sausage Tortellini (found at BJs) or Spaghetti, Salad, Bread

Tuesday (Adult Meal)...Cheesy Baked Gnocchi with Kale, Bread
(Kid Meal)...Ham Biscuits, French Fries, Sliced Yellow Peppers

Wednesday (Family Meal)...French Toast, Bacon, Applesauce

Thursday (Adult Meal)...TBD
(Kid Meal)....Nachos, Black Beans, Salsa, Mandarin Oranges
