Living Room Built-Ins

Still planning and brainstorming the most effective changes to make as part of our bathroom renovation. We currently do not have a coat closet and I store my vacuums, brooms etc in with the laundry. But that laundry closet space is going to become part of the kid's bathroom. So I am considering adding some built in to this wall in living room to serve as a place for guest coats as well as the vacuum.

Check out my inspiration photos....

Laundry Closets

During our kitchen remodel, we not only converted a full bathroom to a half but we also relocated the laundry. We transformed a coat closet into the laundry space and knew that one day this would be come part of the kid's bathroom. But for the past 4 years, my laundry closet has been right off our foyer which is a little strange. Now we are trying to figure out the best way to incorporate the laundry into the bathroom.

Back to Pinterest for more inspiration. I was surprised at how many creative laundry closet ideas I uncovered.

Bathroom Inspiration

We have lived in our house 5 years this spring. Shortly after we moved in, we completely renovated the kitchen and family room with the help of my sister, Anne Hunter. We bought the house with two full bathroom but one of the baths was directly off the family room on the other side of our ranch from the bedrooms. It wasn't the most ideal place for a full bathroom so we converted it to a half bathroom in order to make room for a built in desk. You can see more of that renovation here.

We always had plans to convert the other full bathroom into a private master bathroom and add a full bathroom for the children. I think this spring, it is finally going to happen. We've started planning and hopefully you will follow along with us on this blog.

I have been cruising Pinterest for inspiration and here are some of my favorite pins.
Like the tile and vanity for the kid's bath

During the renovation, we will be getting rid of a linen closet to make room for the addition bathroom so I want to be sure to add something like this in the master bath. Image found here.
Love the wallpaper here.

This is such a good idea!
Love the grey cabinets

Cute lights for the kid's bathroom.

We are working with real money here so not sure how much of this inspiration I will be able to carry over but it is fun to dream! You can see more of my pins here.
