DIY Outdoor Games

We have been having some gorgeous weather here in RVA! My kids have been outside every minute that they can. In fact, Clyde has been asking about a cloudy or rainy day because they have SOOO many sunny's on the weather chart at school. On the way to school one questionable morning, he said to me "Mommy, is it cloudy?" I think he was hoping for something different for the chart.

I have been trying to come up with some new and fun outdoor activities so I consulted Pinterest and came up with a tic tac toe board on an old stump and and a musical garden (side note...this is what I have been calling it but that may not be the correct term). I used spray paint we had on hand to make the board and then bought hearts for 0's and stars for X's from AC Moore. I used outdoor acrylic also from AC Moore to paint the shapes.

All of the supplies for the musical "garden" are from Home Depot or the Dollar Tree. Camille and Clyde seem to be enjoying the music more than the tic tac toe at this point. But it is fun to see them using both.
