I found a lot of the items at Walmart. She asked for this expensive Pottery Barn saucer chair for Christmas and it didn't make Santa's list. In doing a quick Google search, I found this faux fur chair at Walmart for much less. Although it is not quite as furry, she is really happy with it.
I used frames we already had in the room that were previously filled with botanical prints and let her choose fun free printables from Little Gold Pixel. So easy to print on our computer and completely FREE!
We already had the lamps, message board, fish art (created by Camille) and desk accessories in her room.
I found these cute gold wire baskets for her shelves at Walmart. So reasonably priced at under $2 each.
At Marshalls, I found some cute jewelry trays and inspirational art on clearance. I paid less than $7 for these two hung above the "C" printable.
I ended up spending about $85 on the whole update and that includes the painting, chair, artwork, baskets and jewelry trays. She is happy!
PS...No menu planner this week! I was little unorganized with my list over the weekend and I am sorta "winging it" with dinner this week. I will get my menu planner back up next week, feel free to browse our favorite recipes here for inspiration. Also, check back the end of the week for a post about our recent trip to The Great Wolf Lodge!
That rose painting is so cute! And I can't believe you made all those updates for $85!
